Krinio: a platform for the creator economy, from first sketch to code

Creator economy · SaaSkrinio.comIn development

Krinio brings creators and fans together before production begins. Creators publish video ideas. Fans use financial support to signal which ones they want to see, or pitch an idea of their own to a creator. The creator always decides whether any content is made. Movalanche is responsible for positioning, UX/UI design and the full-stack development of the platform.

The idea: make demand visible before production

Creators invest days in content without knowing whether the topic interests their audience. Krinio starts earlier: creators publish their own ideas. Fans financially support an idea that has already been posted to give it more weight, or pitch an idea of their own to the creator.

Support makes demand visible, but it is not a production guarantee. Creators decide whether to make the content. They may produce an idea even if it does not reach its support target. Conversely, reaching the target does not oblige them to produce it.

A route for brands to join during the planning phase is intended for a later stage. It is designed to help them identify topics that interest an audience and coordinate suitable sponsorships with creators early.

The design: three audiences, one clear interface

Fans, creators and brands ask different things of the platform. The design should guide all three without anyone wading through features meant for someone else. The user journeys are therefore shaped around the central tasks: publishing ideas, offering financial support, pitching ideas and coordinating sponsorships.

We are developing a dedicated design system with reusable components. It is intended to keep the interface consistent across idea pages, the creator studio and the sponsor area, while making later additions easier to implement.

The development: a platform is not a website

The MVP is planned to include accounts for three roles, payment flows, a creator studio with support metrics and a way for brands and creators to connect. In the current pre-MVP phase, we are building the technical and visual foundation, from the data model through the APIs to the interface.

Because design and development run together at Movalanche, the usual handover between design agency and engineering team disappears. Decisions are made once and apply to pixels and code alike. That keeps the cycles short: design, build, test, adjust.

Where it stands today: pre-MVP ahead of the planned beta

Krinio is currently in the pre-MVP phase. The beta is expected to launch in mid-August 2026. Until then, the core journeys are being implemented and tested internally. The date reflects the current plan.

This page grows with the project: we will add screenshots, numbers and learnings as the corresponding milestones are reached.

Common questions: building web platforms

What is the difference between a website and a web platform?

A website informs and leads to an inquiry. A platform like Krinio models workflows: accounts, roles, payments, dashboards. That changes both effort and approach: instead of designing pages, you build a product that has to be tested and rethought with every feature.

Does Movalanche handle design and development together?

Yes, that is the standard setup. For Krinio we are responsible for positioning, UX/UI design and the complete development. The advantage: no handover losses between design agency and engineering team, shorter cycles, and a product cast from one mould.

How do you start a platform project without overreaching?

With a clear core instead of a feature catalogue. For Krinio, that core covers publishing, financially supporting and pitching content ideas. Support signals interest, but does not guarantee production. Further features, such as the brand area and analytics, will follow in later stages.

What does developing a web platform cost?

Considerably more than a website, and the range depends heavily on the feature scope. That is why we first ask about your goal, features and budget range. This shows which core carries your project, what belongs in the first stage and what deliberately comes later.

Why does Movalanche show a project that is still in development?

Because the pre-MVP phase shows how an idea gradually becomes a robust product. Anyone planning a platform wants to know how decisions are made, how priorities are set and what needs to be resolved before a beta. That is what this case study documents, and it keeps growing with every milestone.
